Valid Characters and maximum length for a domain name registration

Domain names are allowed with alphanumerics only. No symbols (such as: ! @ # $ % ^ & *) are allowed except for the “-” (hyphen). However, hyphens are not allowed at the beginning or at the end of the domain names. Multiple consecutive hyphens are not allowed as well.

A domain name can be upto 63 characters long without the domain extensions (such are .com/net/info etc). Please note that “www” is not a part of the domain name.
